Well what a great day. Somewhere new to race and new peeps to do it with. EVERYONE owes Bayden a big thank you for organising such a great day. The barby and drinks went down well. I don't know what's in those green drinks but yeehah! I felt way more into-it after just one. Still not too sure about those little stones but it they didn't seem to cause any problems, specially later when a "line" was starting to show on the surface. I had more problem running over the edge of the tyres. I watched a 50 race and waited the whole race for Jay to lose it but it never happened. Good tyres and he uses them.
Interesting the differances to Auckland, both in riders, bikes and attitude. All good, just different.
I had a great time, now all I need is a bunch of skate wheels and bits of chopping board before the next Kaitoke meeting.
I hope someone can come up with a street circuit as suggested by Bayden. Foxton was fun when we ran there, even in the rain with the river flooding right up to the side of the road. Just don't get one with that really coarse chip surface.
To be honest...I don't remember seeing the CBR. Post some pics.Originally Posted by RG100!!

I gotta get in to this! Sounds like a bit of fun.
Plus I gotta show Speedpro how to really ride (and a few new tricks).
Gotta sort out transport first. I dont think one would fit on the R1.

Hey Speedpro - you were on the black number 6 bike weren't you.
Crikey mate that bikes got some pep. First time I've ever seen a bucket wheelying down a straight...
Slingshot - you were there when we arrived but I was preoccupied showing Tim and his mate the bikes while Gini was trying not to look too bored while pushing Nick around in the stroller.
Anyway, you buggered off before I got to say hi - so "hi" now.
I'll catch up with you next time. Tim loves going to see the buckets. But I'm afraid the motards have ruined it for him. He's now demanding a PW50 with two sets of tyres ....kids...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

That was after the racing was over mate, settle down.... besides, I never said what engine it had did I?Originally Posted by Sparky Bills

yea jays one fast guy alright...and i have never seen him fall off by his own mistake at the buckets only when he has been hit!!! he is so consistent with his cornering lines, i have two photos of the same corner with him in it...the only way you can tell the difference is because there is the back wheel of someone elses bike in it. he was in exactly the same palce on the same corner every time!!
He's a legend on wheels one of those one of sort of riders

Those stones are scary. As I said before in other post my RG died so I packed up after a cursory look. - Only later to find the carb had been spat out of the manifold.Never happened before in 10 years of running that setup.
Bring back Kiatoke. & hopefully a Blenheim meeting labour weekend or thereabouts.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

I think if we get enough RS/TZ housed bikes we could run a Wannabe 125GP class.
