Re the FXR forums. Bear in mind just because you read something on the internet doesn't mean it is true. There are a lot of 5 min experts out here who think they know what they are talking about (me included), so always be aware the person who posted could be as clueless as anyone else but know how to write a good report & post it with pics. If they have had results maybe they don't know why.

I read about this guy on the internet who had too many RS's to fit in his garage. He had to throw them away because they were the shitty new ones that no-one wants.
Yeah, they were 6 deep at the dump as well, had to hide them under a pile of Marvic wheels as the dump didn't want to take any more.

MBs are aircooled, they also don't have full reed induction or a rear engine cut to fit a RS engine mount, or a waterpump. It's a lot of work to make them so. Even more to finish them to the point of racing. One day. . .
RG chassis sold & in auckland racing. Engine obviously in RS along with the wheels etc.

there is a 95 RS125 complete on trade me at the moment for 2000 im looking at, not for buckets obvously but is that a reasonable price?? its all ready to race, just hasnt been run for a couple of years so will need new tires piston, rings and should be good to go
any thoughts??

hey dave is that water pump running of the kickstart idle gear?? thats one cool looking 'contraption' you got there
nah, that was going to be the wrong direction, it's straight off the clutch from memory I hunted for ages to find the right gear to drive it & a micro bearing offset bored. I've started the bike but not tried the waterpump yet but it should be geared the same as the donor bike the pump came from

so has it it had any porting??? cause it looks like one serious piece of machinery. why water cool it tho?? would the air cooling not do a good enough job?
