Has anyone else with a subscription looked at the "new" beta motogp website?

I Just logged in and had a look. Hate it.

I prefer lists and index type of web pages when im looking for specifics. I dont care how "modern" it looks. As you can imagine, I also hate the tile windows layout....

Ok I'm probably a retard but does anyone know how to do the fantasy league through the Motogp website? The league page doesn't have any useful links and the FAQ doesn't help...

OK, "It's only testing the times mean nothing". The track is green, it's also very dirty and it is difficult to go quick, but it's all we've got.
The Ducs are quick, the Suzuki is a surprise, improving beyond expectations - certainly mine anyway. With less than an hour to go in the session Crutchlow was fifth ahead of Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi. Seems he is liking the Honda?

The Aprilia pair are tailing the field

The ART bike finished the test day ahead of the factory Aprillia's. I know it's brand new and they're only just starting their development on the factory bike but that's still embarrassing.

Less than a second separating the top ten. These times mean nothing.

I already said that. They have just finished day 2.

According to David Emmett 17 minutes ago, "The top 14 are within a second. This looks like the order you might expect in a race, the six factory bikes then Crutchlow, Smith, Espagero, all very close. Karel Abraham in 10th. The gaps are pretty much the same they were yesterday. The open Hondas are much closer than last year though. This is good news."

Clarification, due to laziness on my part the quotation marks appear only at the beginning and end of that passage. There were other comments which I omitted, again probably due to laziness.

By now though detailed reports should be appearing in the usual places.

Practice times do mean 'something', specially to those who are practicing. Ask Melandri.

I'll pass on that if it's OK with you. He might punch me in the nuts what with his not being very tall and all.

Read the write up on MotoGP but they didn't mention if this was on soft tyres, it was night so softies maybe made a difference.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

The whole tyre thing is a bit complicated. As I understand it from various reports in yeterdays session, Dovizioso's time was not set on a soft tyre. Iannone though had a soft fitted late in the session and set the fastest time.

Rossi's comparatively slow time was partly due to the fact that he crashed early in the session, and while unhurt apparently damaged a soft tyre. That meant he didn't have a soft available to set a fast time at the end of the session.

No doubt Mr Emmett or someone will give us the details because on this morning's efforts because if the new Duc is competitive on the same tyres as the others that is fairly significant.
