Chromecast is brilliant. Well worth the $60.

We use either an iphone, ipad or even an old ipod over wifi to an apple tv that's plugged into the TV
Apple TV scales to full screen HD and looks really good (but not quite as good as the sky broadcast)
If you have any newish i device, apple TV is awesome.
Yeh last year even went on the net to LG to find later ones the TV wasn't detecting.
Then got an auto update last week, installed it (with hope) but same shit different day.
Moto GP still wrong resolution when full screen.
Watched something on TV3 on demand after the update. Still wont recover back to the program being watched after ad breaks.
TV1 and 2 say Error, wrong date and country when the TV settings says its right.
TV is relatively new (about a year or so) Picture etc is fine, in fact really good, but the rest of the LG firmware is rubbish.
Although it does hook into my network and plays music and the movies of the network drive etc which is good for AMA MX and WSBK torrents.
Spent hours on it but given up, Laptop leads permanently coiled under the stand.
Might have a look at chromecast at least then I wont have to run the leadsWonder if the ASUS tablet has enough grunt to do 720P rather than the laptop?

No CWM sponsoring / LCR removing CWM Logos

The sponsorship is definitely done! Speedweek just reported that LCR already removed all CWM logos from their bikes.
Apparently, they are safe financially for the first few races, but they will be in deep trouble if Cecchinello can't find a replacement.
Apparently, the team invested most of the money they received so far in additional mechanics, a bigger hospitality unit and Crutchlow's bike (leasing rates).

If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
SKY TV will annouce today or tomorrow that it is showing MotoGP from March 28th.
Online pass purchased. Fook sky.
Too effin' late!
News overnight of the wrong kind. Drive M7 have pulled out of their sponsorship deal with Aspar reportedly meaning no sponsorship for Nicky Hayden and Eugene Laverty.
The LCR sponsor CWMFX had their offices raided by the police and thirteen people arrested on fraud charges earlier this month. Currently the firm's website contains only a contact form.
Jack Miller and Cal Crutchlow are the effected riders. LCR has other sponsors, and Dorna would like to retain both Miller and Crutchlow because both are popular in important markets.
All of the affected riders may be having trouble getting to sleep tonight?
In the press conference at Qatar both Rossi and Marquez were talking up the Ducati threat this year. Whether they are worried or just playing head games is not clear.
It should please Pete anyway![]()

That's too late to keep my subscription guys. I just bought the Dorna package.
Also, I see Sky via the Vodafone (was Telstra Clear, was Saturn) cable service, which for $29 per month on top of the basic subscription shows Sky Sport 1-4. The last two WSBK rounds have been on Sky Sport 6!!!
Fuckers.

AS THE SPORTS PUBLICIST
The whole MotoGP year is only 6 weeks of sky subscription (3 weeks for me) at a Hundy a month for Sky and you get so much more on the GP site with the pre race interviews etc. bit of a no brainer unless you watch a lot of other stuff.
LCR doing suspect stuff???
Cructhlow and Miller should be OK?? LCR Honda are one of the better teams be easier for them to find a sponsor than Drive Aspar I reckon?
Bugger thats just what those two teams don't need this close to the start of the season.

For me the only options to really choose between are the video passes.
I really enjoyed MotoGP on Sommet last year. But the video pass is a 100 Euro (about $NZD144).
World Superbikes video pass is only 25 Euro (about NZD$36).
Is MotoGP really worth 4 times the money?
