I reckon he wouldn't have come last if he'd have taken the mirrors off of that new honda...

He did. That was the most underwhelming new vehicle launch I have ever seen, not that I've seen that many. What a waste of time.

Marquez said before the race that if the choice was between circulating down the field or risking losing the front end he would take the risk. Good attitude.

Crutchlow had a similar experience to Marquez. Last time out several Honda riders went down with the same problem. New chassis and new swing arms but the problem persists, somebody at HRC might be losing sleep.

I was wondering about those fins on the Ducati, if Gigi has designed a new bike so as to cure all the front end problems, why the fins?

Smith done good again. Well, a whole lot better than his team mate. Espagero must be getting worried, his contract is not with Tech 3, but with Yamaha. He was signed by Yamaha because he had been able to compete with Marquez in Moto2, so Yamaha had high hopes he'd be able to compete with Marquez in MotoGP. Unfortunately he's having trouble competing with Smith. I wonder if Yamaha have a plan B?

And Maria Herrera picked up a world championship point. Good for her.

    Crutchlow seemed to have help.
He got a bump from one of the Suzukis.

If only that Zook could have got off the line a bit faster.
    They sound good though...

Fark yeah!! They sound really similar to the Yamaha I thought....I wonder why?

Yes it was a disappointing start for them both & after the 1st couple of corners I was thinking that it was now all about the also ran's .

True. I just read his explanation, Espargero A bunted him off line and onto he dirty part of the track. When he remounted the back brake wasn't working 'cause the line was split so he retired.

So Crasher, your boy has been the test rider - has he gone and developed a bike that handles like his old Ducati used to - washing out at the front end?

Funny how things turn. A year or so ago the Yamahas were struggling with the teams blaming the tyres and now the Yamahas are cornering like they are on rails again while Honda has gone totally off in a bad direction.
    Cheers

Before doing so he wobbled around at quarter speed and all over the joint and nearly got torpedoed by the leaders when they came across him unexpectedly at La Caixa. Scary !

    .
Lol. I'd hardly call him the test rider mate. Think they simply ask him what he thinks from time to time. When he was the main man they certainly didn't have too many problems with it eh.

Not if you're trying to win a championship. Pedro managed third on the bike after all.

Accumulate the points you can and pray for a solution to the bikes problems.

By now he might feel the writing is on the wall. Finishing fourth or fifth won't help his cause but if he strings a win or two together who knows? After the last couple of years his faith in his own ability must be off the chart. His faith in the bike not so much now. Although that could change quickly if HRC find the answer to their problem.

Did I read that he is one point ahead of Bradders in the championship?

    Indeed! Nobody saw that coming.

Wonder how many times Rossi has been 1.4 behind after 4 laps and stayed there for the next 20? Not much action but enormous tension. Great riding by Lorenzo to hold him there.
