MM does his usual and doesn't allow for the rider in front when braking... Lucky he didn't take out JL.

I think HRC have their work cut out for them, those Yamaha's looked rock solid even in the slippery conditions.

I think I read recently that Rossi has come back from further in points. Might be a big ask with George, Valerino, Dovi and manic Joe riding so well though.

Stoked to see Dani back on the podium after missing those rounds this year. He mentioned the issues they are having with the bike, he didn't look very comfortable on the bike but I think all the bikes looked a bit wobbly mid corner due to the lack of grip. If he could get off the line like he used to I think he might be the one to mess up JL for the others to pounce. Shame he/the bike seems to have lost that epic launch ability that he used to be known for.

Dani's bike is nuthin' like Marky's one.

I stumbled on the result before I saw the race. But after 5 laps I was fast forwarding as it was a bit ho hum.
Rossi second was good, but I'm hopin for one place higher in Assen.

CC could've won it ya know??
and BS coulda been on the podium ?? (Crash dot knobs)......

Zarco came thru for me tho.

CC got punted off by Aleix. BS is sixth in the championship, one point behind MM, top satellite and caning his team mate who's on a better bike. Try opening your other eye. You're like a stuck fucking record.

While I am not overly fond of bald gingers with poofy sounding pommy accents, and I think that he is missing just a sprinkle, a dash, a dusting, a mere dollop of killer instinct (eg the Le Mans (??) race where he didn't/couldn't take the fight back to ManiacJoe and MM), I am HUGELY impressed with his resolve to do well when things are not looking easy and with his consistency.
To be in his position is frankly outstanding and praiseworthy.
Considering that EsP is supposed to be the golden boy, on current form he should be let go and Smi should be given a 2 year extension with a factory bike.
We know that Poncheral loves him and did all he could to keep him this year as it was not looking good for a bit there, so that means he will now be trying to find a factory seat for him for the future, with Tech Trois or elsewhere.
    That is all.
Now, back to my Bradders worship.....

Bear in mind that Pedrosa is not on the same chassis or setup as Marquez, so no valid comparisons between their outcomes can be made.

Some hereabout don't seem to like Smith, and feel he doesn't deserve the ride. He won GPs on 125s but in his first year with Tech 3 he was riding their Moto2 Bike.
At the time that bike was known to be a dog but he stuck with the programme. Nobody, with the possible exception of some KBers, was expecting him to win.

Smith is doing everything that could be reasonably expected of him now and he deserves credit for that. As a bonus these days he sometimes gets to spend a few laps following the likes of Rossi or Marquez so he may be learning new tricks.

I wish him well. Then again I basically wish success for anyone who isn't Spanish, I was getting sick of their national anthem. It was good to hear the British and French anthems as well as the Spanish last weekend. Variety is the spice of life.

I've never had an issue with him, sounds very clever in this article:

Any rider in the top 10 that isn't Spanish is a plus in my opinion.

Apart from the fact that he's a pom, with a shite accent, he seems like a nice enough chap. But enough of the excuses. People on sat bikes have done way more, in seasons past, if they're the real deal. They were..he's not. FFS...Stoner nearly won a race on over the counter Michelins in his first ever season...on a sat bike! Even CC put it on the podium. Get over it you ginga lovers.

Well he's definitely not a Stoner or any other kind of Alien... but there are other things playing against him. The Ducati's are genuinely quick now and they've got solid riders aboard. So that's six factory rides to overcome. Plus there's the liability in qualifying of not having access to the supersoft tyre so there's eight bikes that he's got to contend with to get a decent grid position.. nine if you count the always chirpy Pol.
