I wonder if Rossi will get a invite to the next one of MM's dirt track bonanza weekends?
For the record I reckon he did wing man Lorenzo - to my mind the only aggressive move he made the entire race was on his own team mate![]()
That's only because you're letting your love of Rossi and your dislike of MM cloud your judgement mate. You as a racer should know only too well MM would've loved to have won that race at home in front of his fans. It would've made no diff to the outcome of the championship.
Na mate, I'm not a Rossi lover or a MM hater. What I saw was MM being faster through certain corners, particularly one of the right hand ones, cannot tell you which one. He was right up Lorenzos date on a couple of occasions for that corner, but nadda. I know it may seem like a odd thought, but I reckon his hatred for Rossi overrode his desire to win, but not the desire to give up 2nd place to Pedro as even if Pedro had got in fron't of MM the title was still Lorenzos. For the record I think the fastest rider won the championship. I also feel that rider is a arsehole, should of let his riding do the talking instead of constantly whining like a little bitch (Rossi too) and then beating his chest like a He Man today. Meh....
The only rider to come out of this debacle with any kudos is Pedro.
A guy hugs his oldest mate during a stressful time?

Somebody asked earlier about what happened to Pedro's challenge at the end of the race. In his interview on MotoGP.com he explained that he lost the grip at the end and couldn't challenge for the win.
So I thought it would be interesting to look at the lap analysis and see how many quick laps he managed before it all went pear shaped. He managed 5 mid 31's and then slowed over the last couple of laps to lose to the other two.
In Phillip Island when Marquez overtook Lorenzo on lap 17 he only managed three quick ones before overheating his tyre and falling back. Which he followed up by husbanding his tyre and making a late charge to victory.
When you know you're working with that kind of window it makes perfect sense to mug your opponent at the end. Marquez has said that that was the plan. It was disrupted by a yellow flag at his point of attack four laps from home, then Dani arrived, and the dice cost him half a second. He just ran out of time to make a guaranteed safe pass. Which it had to be after the warning at Sepang. Plus the fact that he must now despise Rossi... aaand Lorenzo is Spanish. Shit happens.
Or it could all be a massive conspiracy.
Looking forward to 2016 when Rossi's amazing ability to rapidly adapt to changed circumstances, plus of course his awesome tactics and brilliantly inventive mindgames lets him romp to his next championship victory. Just like he did with the Ducati.
Even Lorenzo said had it been another race then the Honda riders would've tried to overtake him. That says volumes in itself.
