NIGHT SPEED DRAG WARS I
The Meremere Dragway Night Speed Drag Wars Series is back for the 2014/2015 Drag Racing season! And as always, we kick the fist one off with a bang! With plenty of action on the track and a fireworks display at around 930pm followed by Eliminations racing and the Burnout Competition, it’s going to be a great night.
Run what ya brung! Remember these events are for Street Legal vehicles only so your vehicle needs to be WOFd and REGO’d. You must have a helmet and a minimum Restricted License for a car driver and a minimum Learner License for motorbikes provided your two-wheeler is no bigger than 250cc (just like the road rules). Ensure your battery is securely fastened/tied down and if you have a rotary vehicle that you have a scatter blanket / shield. Lastly, you can run D.O.T approved street legal drag tyres only but any other race slick is strictly prohibited.
