yes, we all deal with friends' and family's death differently, so why not respect others, and leave it alone? Don't be such a cock. The thread isn't about oil spills and deaths, it is whether there is any interest to run buckets at HD, and maybe Taupo.

Look bitch, I didn't bring up oil spills or meetings getting held up. I simply offered that people killing themselves is in fact a bigger problem than chairs dropping oil.

I entered this thread with good intent thinking that everyone needed a full comp licence to race a nats event. One off the cuff remark about buckets blowing up seems to have led down this path. All good, I fucken love a shit fight and am happy to take this one on.

If having buckets at the track brings in more money, sweet as. Why should they get any discount if that's the case? How do ugly little home made bits of shit encourage more youngsters into development classes, when a precious few well prepared buckets can destroy them in speed and handling?

This is some bucket riding Rossi wannabe, inspiring others to be seen by the masses.

I submit no spectator passes should be given to bucket racers. Bad enough how many riders don't shower very often. Let's keep their stinking mates at home!

It really didn't begin as a troll. I hadn't read the rule fully regarding licences for Nats/street events obviously. A rookie mistake given the way the whole book is written and the confusion it promotes.

Once the door is open for talking shit, I just help myself.

    Sorry about that.

Don't bother mate. No one will listen.

In their defense though, when one of us drops a load of oil it's normally all of it and very quickly. I reckon that presents less of a hazard than a solo spreading it half way around the track before they realise there's an issue. But it's big and time consuming to clean up after a chair loses it's load.

Can think of a few exceptionally retarded bikes dropping oil through some people swinging spanners who really shouldn't, but in the limited times I've been to a bucket track I've only ever seen water from F5dave's MB spray out.

I did that. There was no obvious damage to the outside of the tank, and it hadn't been used for quite a while. How was I meant to know it was gonna leak?

Oh right. I'm sure you've never missed something because it hadn't occurred to you that there might be a problem.

Yet another bucket racer who believes he's perfect. How terribly droll.

He might need that third wheel back on his bike to feel safe again that will take some pressure off

You win the prize for laughing hardest at your joke. Probably because it makes no sense and no one else gets it.

I never had a problem with the pressure of buckets. It's getting the silly little things to stay upright I struggle with.
