get your arse to the back of the seat, roll on about 30kph in first, accelerate hard, just as you start to accelerate, hold the clutch in for a fraction of a second so the revs shoot up, then dump the clutch.. see what happens with that

    R1Aaron:
I'm paying $3k (plus repairs I guess) ... its was a reasonable buy before I dumped it I think.
I've test ridden a few bikes (about 7) and I thought this felt ok, seemed to feel ok, no signs of any rust or anything around the forks, and the brakes looked good.

He's put a new 6 month reg, and warrant on, and slapped brand new tyres on it (they still have the knobbs on them)

so apart from spending a bit to get the indicator re-attached, it is still a good buy (I hope)

in theory, anything can be wheelied.. it'll depend on how strong the bike is running, and how good the clutch is.. but doesn't stop you tryin..
hey, I used to have a CBR250 before the 636. But Postie broke it

just noticed, we're taking over the thread here..

Sounds about right for one of those, cool wee bikes, i used to love jumping on his to shoot down to the shops and that,,,heaps of fun without the crazy speeds..buy it and im sure u will be happy in the end, if it is his old one it was well looked after, from memory i think he put new disks, fork springs, etc etc so it was a looked after bike, engine was just high k's and from that i'm guessing thats why it blew..
