I'd have thought that crap was thoroughly discredited after the cops were found to have lied about the bike v car fatal at Whangarei.
Luckily the right person died, but what if it had been the mother and baby?
Is a ticket for doing doughnuts worth that?
Nice one Lou,the 15 year old boy that was a passenger in the car would probably really like to know he was the right one to die.
Guess you/Mr perfect never made a mistake huh.

I'm not sure where you get your info that there was a coverup, given that just on the news tonight they stated that a third investigation into it backing up a previous coroners inquest and another one had all cleared the Police of lieing and covering up the facts.
The coroner found, and the Police admitted, that they did not pull out of the chase.

PS Having just read the report, I have to say, take off your cop biased glasses Indoo, the report in itself was a whitewash by the the Police Can't do wrong Authority.
Apparently the Police "badly managed the pursuit'. "There was no cover up". "There''s no evidence that the accident wouldn't have happened if he wasn't being chased".
Weasel words from an impotent ex-Judge who's fed bullshit by cops who investigate themselves. He hasn't even got independant investigative resources.
    I'll believe the coroner thanks.

Never ran from the cops and killed someone.
This wasn't a mistake anymore than Steven Wallaces killing was a mistake.

Opinions can change as knowledge and experience increase. Or you can just spend your life with your head stuck firmly up your arse and pretend all is fine.

Even if the police had stopped the youths would probably kept going for another couple of minutes to make sure they put some distance between them and the cops.

It had dents on it. It was obviously involved in the crash.

They pull the car over, a cop gets out to speak to a person in the car, the car then fucks off and the patrol car follows leaving the cop on foot twiddling his thumbs.

What would you prefer cops do when a driver shoots the gap after being stopped?

"take off your cop biased glasses Indoo"

Really? How can you rubish someones arguement by accusing them of being cop biased when you are so overtly anti cop biased? Your opinions are hardly balanced.

Ex Judges sitting on the "police cant do wrong autority" are impotent, speak weasel words and are fed on bullshit but the almighty Lou sees all, knows all, can never make a mistake and would never make a misleading statement. Oh no not Lou, the great saviour who protects us all from the evil satin, "Police".

You must either have your tounge in your cheek or your head up your arse. I'm reasonably sure I know which.

I read in the local rag that there seems to be a 'thing' where yoofs get their jollies by being chased by cops and bait them up to get chased - often more than once a night 'cos they know chases get called off more readily than a few months ago. (real heros playing with a loaded dice eh?).

Still get drop-kick losers saying "oh, I fought dat wen ya got over 150 the cops would stop chasing you".

I guess when you and/or your mates get killed you would have to admit you/your mates lost eh?

But you see, the cops make the yoofs run. It's not the yoofs's's's's's fault. They are powerless and have no responsibility for their actions. There is something about the filth that has an effect on them forcing them to run against their wills.

And of course, the filth are evil for chasing them Anyone can see that the cops should just leave the yoofs to it - so what if the yoofs kill someone through dangerous driving, at least the cops didn't chase them, right?

FFS! If the cops don't do anything they get slammed for doing nothing about these "larrikins", if they try to stop them they get accused of inciting them to mischeif and get the blame for the retarded larrikin's actions.

What are they supposed to do? Do a Spiderman and carefully ensnare the car with their webslingers before it gets away? Yell "up up and away", take flight and use their Super Speed to catch up and lift the car off the road to a place of safety?

Sorry, all that crap only works in comics, In the real world, police are expected to stop the idiots as best they can lest they cause death or injury for their stupidity; in the real world the idiots choose to compound their stupidity by running; and in the real world sometimes people get hurt anyway.

What would people prefer, that the police just leave the idiots to drive dangerously? That way when someone dies we can all have a good bitch about "where were the fuckin' pigs, eh? Fuckin' lazy cunts stuffing their faces with doughnuts while that bastard wiped out a bus-load of preschoolers."
