Porn is good for a relationship..... if there is adequate trust in the relationship.

Now it's time to take this thread off track with a little story I still find amusing...

A group of women back in the late 80's (from what's left of my memory) tried to do a big anti-porno movie campaign. They came unstuck after a newspaper reporter did the legwork and discovered that a huge proportion of adult videos were being hired by women. Further to that, these women were hiring the tapes mid-morning and returning them mid-afternoon.

I responded to that item in the Poll - because "what is Porn?" is a good question. What Porn is - is quite flexible and relative to the society and mores of the times. Difficult to define......
What my Mom and Dad would've called Porn - o - graphic certainly wouldn't be today. .
And the flash of a bare ankle that our Grandparents thought was shocking is laughably modest by our present highly-sexualised society's standards.

Perhaps true Porn (as against honest to God sex or love-making stuff) is that it contains elements of coercion, abuse, degradation and illegal acts with minors etc......

A long way down the slope from fantasy sex with impossibly glamorous looking women in Playboy .... who are all presumably adults... and able to
say "NO" and
walk away.....

Porn nearly cost me my marriage, There is an addictive quality in porn that can in some people get out of control.
IMHO there are few woman who are comfortable with porn but allow the use of it for different reasons. I guess thats because of the circle of friends I now have. I'm sure that Bondage Bunny has a differnt opinion though.
For me, the use of porn as stated by Zed causes a very unhappy relationship.... I don't want to any more put my wife through that sort of cr*p again. For you it may be different....
