Villa haven't got the budget for players like the rest of the league.
Just spent 9 Million Quid on some striker though.......he must have had the day off.

I think being demoted has done west ham a lot of good. They were pretty lazy in the premier before that. Perdew has said that players now only stay in the 1st team while they perform - if they dont, then they will get replaced by people who are performing.

The last two games have seen the whole team playing as if each game is a relegation match - although since most of them are first div. players, its still pretty scrappy.

I hope this year, they wont settle down and sink to the bottom of the table like they normally do. And the 220m pound buyout will be good for them as well.
