P.s. And I have the other 2/3 of the worlds YZ100 pistons to try and build within the same set of obsolete rules (though all are still in their lovely new boxes stored for later use)...
It actually wasn't , I thought you were using RM100 ones?

You crazy mate... Suzuki shit in a yamaha

It's about as bad as yamaha pistons in a old shitty Honda

The reason why they (the stash) are still in their boxes was that I couldn't seem to destroy them, even with the mashed up ceramic bearings, slipped bore, locked power valve, 130 odd water temps, blown water pumps. the original build piston was fine (but I did opt for the $40 wisecos first up rather than the $25 yamaha originals)...

If I admitted yes to one of those questions I might look like I had a vested interest.

All the pistons I ran/run were designed & in some cases made in the 70s, so I don't think that's the same boat.

Anyways the bike is pretty much Bears legal: British/European/American/erm Indian?

Yes I do. Rich was the man on this one but he has gotten side tracked with the 300. I see it was sent a year and a half ago! Have had it mounted in my bike and running on the bench but not the two together. Mine is running programmable ignition and injection.
