Long time listener, first time caller (xBlackxBettyx)

    Hi all,

New to the site and thought I'd say hi.

I've been on the dark side for the last few years but have seen the light and I have recently acquired a wee Gn125H and thought I'd come check this place out and see what's going on.
Always keen to head out for a ride, especially if there are other people to ride with, and always happy to take on advice/tips whenever I can.

Looking forward to having some like minded people to shoot the breeze with

    Fair point.
It aint pretty or fast and sounds like a cat being strangled at when you hit a 100... but it's a bike (at least that's what it said on the box)

You got a Box with your bike!!!! I bet that was more fun playing in the box than going for a ride!

It was! The box was slightly more stable in the wellington breeze too

I cut my gn125 up with an angle grinder and cutting wheel today, fuck it felt good.

    Welcome.

I'd rather ride the goat than the GN, and you can make of that what you will.

There's a nice garden next to the mobil on main street so at least you can let it fuel up while you take 5mins to walk to the other end of town and back

I wouldn't worry about any GN Knockers BB, they are/have been possibly the biggest selling learner bike in the country, I started on the up-spec'd more bloke like 250 version. It was my first brand new bike (I have had 4 brand new ones now, because I reasonably wealthy) and it served my needs at the time very well, I bought a 600 sports whilst on my restricted and sold the GN soon after, and can I tell you, they hold their price, unlike some of the 2nd hand shitters that a select few choose to buy as a learner.
