    Gs450 rebuild

Hi guys, I'm starting a build very soon on an old gs450 I have had sitting in my shed for too long. One of the first things I need advice on is the chain (currently missing) and sprockets, the sprockets look OK but do I just replace while doing the chain anyway? What size, type and length chain do I need? Is it OK to buy a chain from aliexpress or the likes? Or are they just rubbish?

The bike is going to be a nice daily ridden cafe style.

    Cheers

Chain and sprockets shouldn't be too expensive, ring around some bike shops and see what sort of deal you can get. I'm a tight bastard when it comes to buying parts when doing what you're doing, but when it comes to tyres and chain/sprockets I spend what I need to saving a few bucks now most times doesn't save you money long term.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987
