Good find and quite surprised they were on sale in the UK.

However, there are a subset of buyers in this world that shop only on price and there's manufactures out there who are very good at doing that (no matter what the potential implications may be) bidding to get these buyers who either don't know but more likely don't care.

When most people think China made they think cheap but the reality is that Chinese manufactures are very good at building to a price be that low or high. I have some test equipment which was built in China and built to a very high standard but it cost roughly the same as equivalent test equipment made in the US.
