    Metzeler Z8s

Hi Ive just joined the site.

I'm wondering what people's thoughts are regarding the wear of the tyres pictured. They are a few months and perhaps 3000km old. These pics were taken after a bit of curvy riding on a warm day (today) on BMW 1100RS.

My question is does this wear look normal or does it seem a bit harsh? I'm wondering about tyre pressures etc..

    Thanks
    Paul

If tyre looks blue to hot not enough pressure. If tyre looks grey then to much pressure.

Looks ok if you were sweeping bends at moderate speeds on a warm day.

2000km s20r rear as it sits in the garage today. Going to need another for warrant in Jan. GRR

What pressures did you run? And did you check them before going out for your ride?

Seems like acceptable wear for spirited riding on a fairly heavy bike.

thanks for replies and link, yeah im thinking its probably acceptable wear but perhaps a wee bit harsh - now just wondering about playing with suspension firmness to try and tweek to a more even ripple pattern..
