    Luggage options needed!

    Hi All,

A friend and I are taking our 250's down the South Island to Queenstown which we are both looking forward to as our 1st Roadtrip for 5 days.

However, we don't have a bike rack or anyway to bring our luggage.

Is anyone able to rent out a saddle bag, bike racks or paneers to me to use for 5 days.

    This would really help out!!

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    When are you going?

I have a rack that would suit a large duffle bag if installed over the rear seat but would need brackets made etc.
Would need see your bike and see what could be fitted.
Saddle bags on some bikes can be very hit and miss with muffler clearances etc.

You really need list both bike models and years and the dates your travelling.

Pannier racks are bike specific. "Borrow" is NOT (usually) an option.

I might suggest a large "Overnight " bag and a few Bungy cords.

I just use a backpack, gets a little uncomfortable at times. But sometimes it is better to be a little uncomfortable than stay at home with a menopausal woman.

If your stuck let me know I have some time available on Sunday and this rack that I bought for a trailer and never used.
I have a black carry bag that would hold the same as 2 saddle bags. If mounted in the correct spot it will also help position saddle bags if you need fit both.

Long term these are very good and the buy now price is cheap.
I had a larger one on my first trailer and it was very easy to get a good weight balance if loaded correctly.

Points scored if you know this Southern Location.
