Would have been Monday then, somewhere between Taupo and Wanganui?

Could have been - Monday we went from Tokomaru across to Bulls through Rongotea and the Tangimoana Rd and then SH3 to Wanganui and round the coast road via Cape Egmont to New Plymouth...

Have seen and waved to and been waved to by many bikers...

This is on the road from Raetihi to Pipiriki.

But oh joy, it looks like I'm going to have a BMW single engine to do for a customer - but wait...it's an Isetta...so, no, down again....

But yes, a reason finally, I got the workshop cleaned up after a week of carving alloy bits for a race bike.

...a young bloke I spoke to on a race track a few months ago just turned up to pick up a small Honda part that would be nearly impossible to pick up these days...I got a half dozen of my favourite beers and he had a really big smile on his face when he left...
