Survived another hospital visit. With some difficulty.

But I have to say, this lot of drugs were the best yet....Woke up around midnight, coming down off Panadol and morphine.
To watch the floral pattern curtains in my cubicle, strobing red,orange,blue,green....Very pretty.
Wondered why no-one else was awake then realised I was sitting in my own cold sweat.

Ah well, it's over - for the present.
i still have some of the good stuff if ya caught short Greg.
I was watching something on Henry V111 leg the other day and wondered how you were getting on. FYI His answer for leg ulcers was to get another Mrs.

Get that "new" bike finished while I'm still around to see it....

Thanks Husa but don't need any more hallucinogens at present. Henry didn't have access to the District Nurses....

I may be a drama queen as my wife claims - but you'd have thought draining two litres of fluid off a lung in about 3 minutes flat might have triggered an alarm.
All that happened was that the drain pot reached capacity and started trying to drown me. Everyone incl me thought I was having a heart attack so I passed out - and woke up to a cleared ward and the full crash crew looking at me. Impressive. Even the mobile X ray got there.

Well, I did ask the X ray girl how many people she'd run over on the way....She admitted to having bruised a couple....

Survived anyway. Kickaha had a worse time of it - in the same ward too. Always someone with a worse story.

Well you miserabl;e old bartewards, I sincerely hope you've all had a bloody Mery Christmas and are looking forward to a Happy New Year.
Tomorrow, I vacate Dorkland for southern climes and am looking forward to some quiet counry cruising , all the way to Welly, Christmas with the adult kids this year, ha, wife still cooked and orchestrated most things, but hey, they did try hard and we did all manage to relax.
You lot take care out there and come back to moan some more next year, but for now, I'm off to pre flight/ ah, road test the Bandy, oil, check, water, check, tire pressures, check, fuel, check, gear packed, check, rider, sober, well, as good as could be expected after Boxing day, not at Wanganui, Op's sorry Whanga Nuie.
We're usually there with firends, we ride to Taihape, stop with Don at The Taihape Motel, yesterday, go to Racing today and slowly wend our way back norf with 6-8 mates, also on bikes, this year no one could get their time off's sorted, so none of us are going, have to try harder for next year.
    Enjoy.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
