Getting back to 'reasons to be cheerful' ... I found out today that I'm having heated handgrips put on my work bike. Sweet! Nice to be able to get to work at 5.45am and still be able to feel my fingers.

Got the bike back this morning. What a difference. Always had them on my own bikes but they didn't fit them on the work bikes as the 6 volt grips were hard to come by. (I had applied for a job a few months ago and my boss said that if I stayed, he'd get me heated handgrips.
