But yes, a reason finally, I got the workshop cleaned up after a week of carving alloy bits for a race bike.

Naaa .. Saturday was wet so I got to sleep without guilt ... Sunday was fine so I cut firewood. Rode the bike to work this morning (fine and sunny)

Binning an untenable work situation, and moving to another. It may be worse but I doubt it. After 20 some years its a bit stressful.

Have been riding for 50 years and still learning how to ride more proficiently. Had my Street Triple for the last 5 years and it's been a revelation. Will probably buy a new one next year.

This year marks 43 years of marriage and I'm still crazy about my wife. Currently sitting having breakfast overlooking Coromandel Harbour in the sun. Oh yeah, and retired....

    Enough reasons to be cheerful?

Grumph built me a couple of Thundercat engines for the F2.
We ran the first one on the weekend, It sounds sweet as & pulls like a train, uses no fluids & doesn't leak a drop. All for a fantastic price & done in under a week.
That's a reason to be very cheerful. Thanks Grumph, you're a legend!

thanks, I needed that after a day in Disputes Tribunal where the SDC came very close to accusing us of outright fraud. Looks like we'll get the dosh needed to do our land repairs but a long term solution to the flooding is still nowhere in sight. At least it's on record that the council cockup is responsible for it.

You? Fraud? thats funny. The only thing you should investigated for is not charging people enough to build their engines.
