Real reason to be cheerful - yaye!

Ran into a couple of my old riding mates today at Kurow - they had set off this morning to go for coffee at the chequered flag! (Rangitata no less)

They were a little off course but that added to the rush I felt as I remembered the good old days of just going somewhere - anywhere - who cared anyway!

That was a good time for feeling cheerful - and maybe just a little tearful - Sigh!

Got told to Bugger off early yesterday, so I did, Hopped on the scoot and headed for Rotovegas, great ride down, bit chilly over the Mama.Ku's but still a bloody enjoyable blast down the line.

Five more sleeps until my grandaughters arrive for a week with us. Miss 8 and Miss 5 are flying as unaccompanied minors from Wanganui to Chch for the start of their adventure. Got some cool activities lined up for them so it should be a hoot! And Miss 8 will demand at least one ride a day on the 600. Miss 5 ... not so keen but we'll see.

    Enjoy!
Had to type some more words cause we're not allowed one worders, even though in this case it was completely appropriate.

I am cheerful that we have the freedom to CHOOSE to feel cheerful whenever we wish.

    And I'm a good bastard.
For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
