    True.

However the americans would say jihadists made it their business with a few overseas activities of their own. Its a bit of a chicken and egg thing, who fired first?

Rest of the world aside, do you think NZ should avoid all involvement unless NZ soil or citizens are directly attacked?

America has been sticking their nose into other people's business on behalf of their Zionist overlords for decades.

Look at the shit it's created.

Not arguing that its happened, the Zionist thing driving it? Not sure, but can see the reasons that explanation has more than a bit of traction. The links to Israel are VERY strong. I have a feeling there is a power and control agenda rather than a religious ideological one though.

    Still, my question remains....

If Australia or any of the near Pacific Islands were invaded I'd have very little problem with the idea of offering our support to them.

I certainly don't believe we should support any interference into the governance of countries further afield. Especially if the motives are of a questionable nature.

America would be one of the most war-mongering nations in the world. Personally, I think we should consider cutting all ties to them.

Being "allied" to the US is very quickly becoming a zero-sum game. The net effect of the US on NZ has been incredibly negative.

Irrespective of that, 4.5 million people trying to prove they have balls as big as the rest of the world is just fucking stupidity. It gets substantial proportions of the population killed, wounded, and ruined for life and for what? 6 Californian lamb farmers can destroy NZ's lamb exports to the US. A bunch of wine growers in one US state can make it uneconomic to export wine to the US at the drop of a hat. Australia can shit on any trade agreement it wants to because someone found fireblight in a crate of apples more than 100 years ago. As a result, we now direct market our capital on the world's financial markets and allow corporates and individuals to buy the only asset a primary produce nation has.

    Land.

Only if society continues to worship money and power.

Perhaps it's time we started looking for other priorities in life.

I like my family. My dog is awesome. I have friends who lend me bikes. It doesn't get better. Most other things are a necessary evil.

Hence why my business is never likely to make any great amount of money.

I refuse to play the game of measuring success by the amount of dollars in the bank.

Straya's biggest problem (appart from Tony Abbo) is Indonesia on its northern undefended border.

Not to forget a very young average age group in that country and sizable (by world standards) armed forces simply lacking stable organisation!
