    Hotbodies MGP Growler Exhaust

I am looking to buy a slip on exhaust for my CBR300R. Do you guys recommend hotbodies as a good brand? their exhausts seem to be cheaper with the same effect of a loud exhaust. i want the other road users to hear me better in these and i do not want to show off.

Sounds good. Now that you have your full licence though wouldn't you want a bigger bike instead though?

If that's the look you like you may as well buy a cheaper Dan Moto pipe. The Hotbodies stuff is way over priced IMO for gear that does not actually 'muffle' much.

Can't see your specific model but the 250 is prob the same - anyway pick a muffler and get a muffler shop to make a link pipe if the 250 does not bolt on. Also order a db killer to knock the sound down.

    https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_US/cbr-2...18_19_165.html

Also you could try these - better pipes but still at the budget end $ wise. http://www.delkevic.us/?section=shop...a_cbr250r_2013

Both international so you'll be ordering on line and importing. Go Delkevic over Dan Moto if you desire their look.

Me - I'd go Cone Engineering and make something special (google)

No exhaust is going to do what you want. What little sound your sewing machine can generate will be spit out the back and no one in their cars is going to hear you.

Don't waste your money. Soon enough you'll want to upgrade to a bigger bike.

Even the loudest, may-as-well-be-open-pipes, I-just-crapped-myself-Mum-I-hate-bikers-mufflers can't be heard until you are alongside, going past and in front.

The won't hear you coming, they'll hear you going.

Wrong rationale. I can respect someone for spending money on a bike, because farkles, but "Loud Pipes Save Lives", is just wannabe Outlaw bullshit.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Best to just admit you want a bit more noise Nothing wrong with that as most stock systems are like sparrow farts.

Justify it by stating you want to reduce the weight of the motorcycle to improve handling - KBers will respect that

Your RSV4 is still the best sounding bike I have ever had the pleasure of hearing blast bast.

Thanks guys. Some good advice here. I am not the kinda guy to show off. I am starting with a small bike and I know that. I know how the bigger bikes sound and will get there but don't want to kill myself by making mistakes which I most definitely will and this sewing machine is very forgiving. Cheers
