    I need some expanded mesh - anyone got some in dorkland?

    I'm after some expanded mesh, the kind that steps are made of. Not galvanised as I want to weld it in place.

    This stuff -> https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=ex...w=1680&bih=986

    Anyone got some?

    PM me please.

    Size, I need about 4 pieces approx 800 x 100. The normal stuff for stairs / steps size. I'm making a couple of frames for the bikes for cameraman pillions so need the expanded mesh type stuff for them to stand on. See my profile pic.

    Have you looked at Repco Racemesh, or similar? You'd need supports under it at that thickness though.

    Ah, looks like United Steel might be a good bet: http://www.unitedsteel.co.nz/

    Unfortunately, most industrial type businesses will be closed until at least the 5th (if not 12th).

    Other option I've seen, but might be too heavy for your application is grating: http://www.grating.co.nz/
