I just bought a bike and it's not starting

Just bought a Keeway Supershadow 250 from TradeMe and the bike is not starting.

    Choke is to the left
    Kill switch is off (down)
    Ignition on.
    In neutral.

Pressing the electric start but it wont crank over.

Am I doing something wrong as it's my first bike, maybe I don't know how to start the bike lol.
I just stop & do my best to refrain from having conversations with people that ain't in my lane

Clutch is in and gear in neutral.

I press the starter and hold it and it makes a click sound.

I thought it could be a flat battery but neutral light, horn , headlights and indicators all work.

Turn it on, put it in second gear, clutch in and push, hop on and let the clutch out, if it starts it is the battery, if it doesn't start push it back home lets start again.

    where to start.....?

start by eliminating all possible causes in a logical manner...
    battery a good start.....
dont just guess but make absolutely sure it is ok...
after that you go on to next step
