I saw an R9T up at Wanganui the other day. I see they're $25k, a little less bang for the fewer bucks though...

    But I liked it.

Sold to the man wants pay almost twice what a bike realistically worth.

The r1200rs is 28k. That's the boxer I would buy if I had money and it was 6k cheaper.

They are on tardme but haven't confirmed the 28k yet. Its a 2 be advised(listed 28k) but based on the gs1200 and r1200r prices its going to be about 28k if you use the others as a trend as well.

But its the r1200r in the OP pictures with different head design.
Im not sure there is a R-nine-T 2015 release at this stage.

Gold spec ZX14r has been reduced for summer http://www.kawasaki.co.nz/catalog/st...0FEFB/overview

If you click that link check out the price of the H2.

Then again speaking $ it is all relative to what you like the R nine T is smack on the Grisso price http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-812252743.htm

A big block HD is $25 - 30K most models.

That's why I think the value of mine even with all good bits would be about 15k.
Not worth me selling it anymore. Might as well run it for another 5 years to get value from it.
Harsh seeing it owes me about 32k but realistic.

I have a retro BMW anyway

The new liquid cooled R1200GS also has a from-factory low suspension option, so shorties have got a pretty good shot at handling one.

Any price with a 2 at the front is good stuff, the GS Adventure with options ticked struggles to stay much under $40k... On run out they were around $33k I think.

I really like the XR version, but 160hp? No way can I have that much and stay out of trouble On another note, congrats to BMW, they've figured out how to make symmetrical headlights

I don't get that. Why would you make a pretend dirt bike that weighs 250kg? I can't even think of much of a historical link.

I can't work out why they haven't made them with adjustable ride-height. A wee actuator in the linkage / forks is hardly expensive or technically difficult. Could organise it to drop 3" if in road mode and below 5kph...

But I likes the wonky headlights, particularly the Rockster's, it's a win for design functionality over anally retentive "fashion".

Oh fuck off honestly. Who gives a shit why it's called what it's called. It's a fucking good bike even if it's cashing in on nostalgia - guess what, that's what people want.

With your shitty attitude, apparent dislike of virtually everything and busy-body approach to over-safety, I often wonder why you are even here. Do you actually care about motorcycling? Or are you just a sad, lonely, pathetic negative-nancy?

They were 90hp claimed with stock exhaust etc. That's likely 80hp

So idd say 80hp+ at rear wheel and breathing easy with new exhaust.
Stock they were 260kg and I would say I have pulled 60 or more off it in weight.

Goes very well with lots of torque. Very low first gear and 5 speed is only complaint.
Doesn't need be fast just fun to ride.
