    No tolerance be fucked

Ive had some dark days with the speed coppers though nothing i can complain to much about ie the Waitaki bridge incident etc but recent events as in the last few years have left me scratching my head some, seems i cant do any wrong and as i posted in the speed tolerance thread the other day coming back from the lakes in the ute i round a bend travelling somewhat and theres a cop car coming straight at me but nope nothingToday myself and a few mates took a ride up to lakes coming home just passed the Maori rock drawing area theres a rise leading onto a very long straight i pass my mate pull the thing up and crest the rise to be confronted with a cop car and a line of no choice law abiding citizenssome laughter and pointy fingers from the other two as i slow then stop to await my fate...few minutes later still nothing so pull back on to the road and leaveDont understand it but hey who knows possibly the guy rode a bike...whatever happy new year to ya,maybe the ticket book was full.

I'm am finding the general traffic flow is the same speeds/hold ups as it ever was.
Todays beef was yet another corner cutter, with plate obscured by bikes. To top it off he trys to wave me to overtake on the most dangerous section of twisty road. And it was an HSV holden....
If I see the muppet at bike park there will be words....

We have 50 demerits now if someone blows 250, think same should apply for corner cutters....

Tell that to the dickhead plod who u-turned in front of a car and myself on my bike in the middle of a corner. Ceraintly some very hard braking by the car and a reasonable amount by myself. He then still carries on chasing the car he managed to ping going the other way without even a acknowledgement he did something stupid. The car going the other way was by no means travelling that fast that he needed to endanger all our lives.

Did you follow and have a word (assuming you could do so safely)? Or at least get his number and lay a complaint?

Nah, most people on here would rather bitch about it on the safety of their computer screens, rather than risk actually doing something about it themselves.

Who knows what the car as flagged for, could be wanted crim etc..... it always cracks me up that people think everytime a cop pulls someone its for speed. The paranoia by people when they see a cop car... they usually too busy running around after wife beaters and thieves to be worrying about speed tickets.
A competent motorist should be aware that a cop car may brake and turn to chase someone at anytime. With a two second following distance it shouldn't be a drama for anyone following...
Maybe cop cars need those signs on the back like street sweepers do.... jesus Christ.............
