"Going to put the word FUN back into the motorcycle industry."

Where had the word FUN gone? Funny statement. I didn't realise I wasn't having fun already.

Cool. Last year or was it 2013 Yamaha put fun back into the motorcycle industry with the triple ...... next year it will be?

Anyways - I like - one thing bugs me and it is soooooo ironic. Ducati stuck with under seat pipes for years on their sports bikes - now they make a scramble and sling a faff looking low pipe on it? - I predict the aftermarket will produce a set of high pipes for this model and it's cool factor will go up a notch. Scrambler = high pipe - Triumph got that right.

$8,500 US - double it in NZ????????

    Pfft, be $19k here.

Looks shit. There's already shelves of shit to make Ducati wankers look more wankerish, I can't help but think the company are taking the piss.

Hmmm converts to NZ$11k with enough change to fill ya tank. What's it cost to post a new motorcycle to NZ?

I briefly considered that a couple years back when US dealers were running out KTM990 Super Dukes for $8k US. Alas my dream was shattered with some family expense. Suck is life.

Imagine if Ducati NZ had the foresight to market them say $500 under the price of one of those Yammy 800 triples

Great to see so many new bikes and so many becoming available over here. Can only be good for punters.

I like the bike but, (minus the marketing spiel) I suspect the reviewer would be wetting himself much the same on a 15 year old Monster with high bars and narrow tyres.
