Well they did band together at the UN to prevent the Palestinians having their case heard over Israeli occupation - with USA supporting Israel as usual!

I'm pleased to see Jim McLay exposing the ineffectual nature of the UN in his address to the Security Council.

Makes me wonder how long before we're treated to a 'terrorist attack' as punishment for not toeing the line.

We have (in NZ) a mild equivalent of AIPAC a Jewish lobby group and always have had! - Fair enough but now we have a seat on the UN security council again!

What will this mean? - Will we see unbridled pressure lobbying on issues relating to Palestine and Israel so that our vote becomes automatically pro Israel?

New Zealanders should take care to ensure that our representatives on the council vote fairly and without prejudice from any single interest lobby group!

So far so good but keep a very close eye on proceedings and outcomes created by our representatives performance on this council.
