Yup. Peoples is getting more special by the day. I was getting close to putting forehead to nose in me old shoppe. Lackluster crack & companionship at home as a consequence. Consumers are precious vampires.

I'll call in one day on the way past Mangakino - once you're there. Some excellent riding down that way.

It's an old Dam town between Tokoroa and Taupo, houses are being snapped up for weekend retreats because of what it has to offer, cheap affordable housing/quiet/peaceful/lake/friendly locals/great location, 40 mins to Taupo/20 mins to Tokoroa/45 mins to Rotorua and an hour to Hamilton.

    Mangakino/Te Kuiti/Taumaranui/National Park/Turangi/Kuratau Juntion/Western Access/Home is a decent loop. See you soon Jan.

A nice spot to to while away in between jobs for sure :-)

Keep me in that "loop" - got a GL in Matiere needing to stretch its legs and would be good to meet some familiar KB names

Yip, Managkino will be our home as from March 9th Graham, nice and handy to a lot of Motels, kind of feel that want to concentrate anywhere from Home to as far south as the Kapiti coast, maybe Whitianga? but anywhere will be considered really.

For sure, once the dust settles. One thing that has been most notable over the last year is the isolation from, what was normal living for us, we also want to change that.

We know this, so not the middle of nowhere as some people think. It is actually a gorgeous little town to boot. Just like stepping back in time. Lets just say the rat race no longer appeals.
