    Angry Indicator problems

    Hi all...

Just wondering if anyone could be of help?

I had an off a few months ago and damaged the indicators on the LH side and also the light switch unit thingee (don't know the technical name). The front indicator survived but the left one didn't so i replaced both rear indicators. After this the right side flashes but not the left, so i thought it may be the flasher unit, and so replaced it with a new one. The left side still dont' flash!!!

I've checked all the cables and they all check out, the next thing I want to replace is the switch unit, but before I do I was wondering if it was simpler than that.

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Cheers

If you've checked the bulb then try this.....
Did you buy aftermarket taiwanese indicators? If so it is possible that the electrical terminal is crimped onto the plastic outer of the wire. (have had this happen a few times with aftermarket indicators) You may have to crimp them a little harder to get them to make contact with the wire. check both wires where they plug into your loom and see if this is your problem. Good luck - Andy.
