When a person is forbidden to ride until they obtain a proper license, does this have an expiry date?
Or can that persons bike be still impounded, say like 4 years later?
Or will they just tell said person to go home and stop being naughty?

I would rather you call me Ed, than hippy. What a fuckin insult. Getting a license would involve going to Invercargill, and I would rather get a PROPER job than go to that shithole. Couple of my mates are planning a ride up through the middle of the island and I really want to go, but promised myself that I would be a good boy.

Met a guy called 'Bloke' one day, he was his learners and was riding a 1500cc Kawasaki cruiser, was stopped by the cops, they let him off because ''at least he was attempting further his licence''

Yep it is, done it a couple of times before, before I made a stupid promise to myself. I'm not worried about getting stopped, but not sure I would be able to control myself If a copper tried to take my bike off me.That'd be a really good ride, and if you're good, you probably wouldn't get stopped...

Until the law is changed that states you don't need a license to ride a bike then I guess mate you're going to have a great ride and all the time be paranoid, looking over your shoulder and in your mirrors (if you have some)
