I remember drinking/singing with him at a certain party until the wee hours, then the home owner marched into the scene wearing someones dressing gown and closed the party down...never did figure out what 'Pigeon Pie' was all about.... don't ask, you had to be there.

I never did meet her, she was/is/has more balls than me.
She asked almost the same questions I had about bike things.

She seemed to do everything and cover all aspects regarding riding that I had ever thought about.

Funny that you posted this...I was just thinking yesterday afternoon I hadn't had any JWs at the door. Then Lo and behold, 3 came along to my gate, looked at the large dogs on the other side of the gate and wandered off. Clearly they knew there was no chance of converting the dogs

I was kinda hoping my somewhat fierce looking dog would put them off, but no joy there. In fact, the dog seemed to love them ( I sure fucking didn't ). It's bloody hard trying to fob those cunts off without appearing to be rude.

I'm of the opinion that accosting someone in the street, not taking 'no' for an answer and pushing religious views to a disinterested person is extremely rude. So after a polite "No thank you", I stop worrying about appearing rude myself, and make it exceptionally clear just how disinterested I am.

Other times, I might listen to them for a bit, if I'm feeling particularly magnanimous.
