    Bar-end mirrors

    howdy i have fitted bar end mirrors but am left with the bit the old mirrors fitted on to, i know what i need to cover it, some sort of black rubber sleve but havnt got a clue where to get such a thing, any ideas?

    Im guessing you want a sleeve like the one in this pic. Call at your local powerboard yard and ask for a couple off some cable, probably 20kva cable size by the look of it.
    Or call into Blacks and pay for some. Pretty cheap.

    Unscrew the mirror adapter (the gold bit) then measure the diameter of the hole (8mm I think...) then go to Supercheap/Repco or an auto upholsterer and get some xmas tree clips the right size to plug the holes.

    If you just want the end plugged google "mirror hole caps"

    or there's always this option....

    Call me an idiot, but can't you just take the bracket off the bars with an Allen key?

    its all part of the clutch lever on one side and the brake fluid doodad on the other side

    When I fitted CRG Lane Splitter mirrors to the Triumph I bought a couple of special bolts from EBay. Any bolt the right size would do the job but these had a black coating and were less obtrusive than a stainless bolt, and they were advertised as made for the job.

    Can you get a steer from the relevant owners forum web site?
