I went to the show last time and it was brilliant. Lots of immaculate bikes from the 70s and was able to have a pint afterwards.

Some of us struggle to see Jappers from the 70s as Classic Bikes ... to us older ones they were contemporary ... and new

Shit, then I realise that a Japper built in 1979 would be 36 years old this year .. or a bike built in 1970 would be 45 years old ... FUCK !!!)

    Thanks for the OP.

One of my mates has recently bougfht back the first bike he ever had, and he's now 59. It's a 70's Japper of some type. It's in good nick. I'll see if he knows about the show, and I'll be going myself.

    Thanks again.

We don't just restore these old bikes to show them, we get them out on the road and wring their necks on a regular basis. Pictured at the Tai Tapu pub after a quick run down from Akaroa. It was great to be in a group of classic Kawasaki Z1, Z1A, H1 and H2's together on the move.
