    I just purchased this: http://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/3...axo-race-shell

Have yet to wear it on the bike but seems ok if your on a tight budget. Only CE level 1 so not the best protection but better than nothing. I think the tail piece could extend further down and it moves around when putting the suit on.

Pretty sure ken from hyosung brings a load of spares along with him so you don't need to buy spare levers, rearsets etc etc

No, it goes in your pit area. It is for putting out a fuel fire in case it all goes wrong.

I got a 4.5kg one as it is better to have too much agent rather than not enough.

They use the ones on the track to put your bike out if it burns after a crash.

Good to hear you have most tools already.
As MT said, don't commit too much money right away.

I only ask from riding in the forests where you had to have one on your back.

Club membership application and fee sent!

Once my application is complete I'll apply for a licence.

I've already Sussed out the theory test so it'll be paying some more money and I should have another thing checked off the list.

I have yet to find any standard retail price below mine. But I don't often sell at full retail due to the fact that most of my customers are Trade. If anyone wants a bulk order deal I can make a very sharp quote. Last year I sold a residential group 27 extinguishers and several fire blankets and alarms. My buy price on smoke alarms means I can only match the likes of Warehouse though, but I am prepared to take a loss on them if the rest of the order is worth it.

However, I stand to be corrected.

For general info, be aware that I have seen so-called fire extinguishers advertised that are not certified as such and are described as fire suppressors.

Nobody is able to sell fire extinguishers unless they conform to the NZ standards so your main stores are usually fine and any extinguishers with the standards label should be okay regardless of brand or price. I know quickbuck will only supply certified extinguishers too.

Well, sorry no, not actually in the business of selling them, just that I can obtain certified extinguishers for very low cost through one of the NZDF contracts.

If the purchaser wants to join the RNZAF however they can get the same deal as I did
