Post away me ol mate, whats the worst that can happen????????????? oh yeah, I remember now, that one of... te he he.
Awesome weekend away with great buggers who simply had a shit load of fun and enjoyed everyone's company. It takes all sorts to make a group and I reckon we've got a damn good one.
The Naki's weather was picture perfect, not to hot, not too cold, overcast with a bit of cloud on the way down, beautiful and yet cool on Saturday as we rode all around the Naki in convoy and did we enjoy those beautiful wide well cambered Naki corners.
Also naturally and of course enjoyed some damn fine grub at the Deluxe Diner in New Plymouth, beautifully decorated with 50's and sixty's Americana and staff who looked after us like royalty.
OK, who managed to get those two massive loaves of bread into their gunny sacks, the Bakery wants em back guys!
Then we had lunch at a place where we could have stayed all weekend, beautiful setting, indoor outdoor decks, landings and the best grub around at the Stumble Inn, also in New Plymouth for lunch.
The Top Ten Holiday Park deserves a mention too, clean and tidy, beautifully presented grounds, amenities and rooms, good staff and management were realistic when it came to a little problem I experienced with our 4 adult "bungalow" 10' x 8' room. Sorted that quick smart and all was well, go back there again no worries at all.
Mokau White bait Inn was gorgeous and their Truckies breakfast is the all time best I've ever experienced and I've experienced a few.
FBMC Birthday bash went off with a monumental Bang, all enjoyed their rides, their accommodation, their meals and their free time, the swimming pool got some incredible work outs what with 8 fatties in it at once chasing a suspiciously shaped and tipped inflatable Bossum! The Fatoi "Fitoi" it shall be remembered for all time as, most of us got out of that pool totally spent and then there was the exercise!
The local rag got a double work out, first being used to house Saturday nights fush and chups for the entire crew funded mostly by the Sheriffs fines on all and sundry for the smallest little digressions.
Then secondly as a kind of gloriously simply bike blanket, though i'm not sure ol Lethal thought it a good idea, perhaps a pic or two would better explain that situation.
Haven't had so much fun away with a bike group in a bloody long time, thanks to everyone who came along and I'm certain everyone went away smiling after the entire three days of relaxed socializing and exploring with good friends. New and old.
Oh there was one small slightly aggravated incident, seems a certain Hyobag sleep walks! Bwaa ha ha.
Sorry Maxi I was certain I'd carried it off perfectly only to be undune by that impish grin from the Lippy one.
Pity about Phreaks upcoming Stag do! aye mate???
Ride on people, done and dusted for another year, looking forward to next years beauty at the lake! Come one come all.

Don't know if Nonda did it the same as Yamaha, but the ol coal burner used to have a 2 brush armature with main line in and out thick as, pulled so much if your battery was even close to retirement it'd not start. I replaced it completely with a 4 brush one that had a built in relay and it spins it so fast on so little current you could start her with a 9volt battery.
Hope shes OK again soon mate.
