    520 chain conversion for NC30 VFR400

    Hi guys,

Got a 520 chain left over from my pro twin racing days, and I want to fit it to my VFR400, but really struggling to source the correct sprockets from the bike shops. I know Renthal do a suitable rear sprocket. Has anybody else done this. If so can you point me to the right supplier.

Any help is appreciated. I'm in Auckland.

Find a it sprockets cattle dog online it might be an option or can work out one. Then any bike shop can order from Darbi if they are common.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I do not think you could have made more of a mess of that if you tried. I think what Dave is referring to is http://www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

I didn't try, stupid tablet auto correct. Cattledog was intentional but it split it to two words.

    Loccomotion

Rodd, who used to sponsor Nick Cole, does a lovely line in 'Driven' parts. I'd be surprised if he can't help you.

He works from home in Auckland, his email is: sales@loccomotion.com (021 950382). He has a website going by the same name too.

I've just gone 520 on the 675 and he had everything in stock. Reasonable prices too.

    Hope this helps.

This guy reckons he got them from Boyd's in Hamilton.

$90 is a bloody good price. I may stop by next week and ask otherwise I will be ordering online.

If you do find something local let me know please!
