Yeh I remain stoked with the deal I got on mine.

That's about what I'd be looking for too tbh.

Don't think that will ever happen; and if you've just bought a house, just go all in and get it, what's another spadeful on your mountain of debt

The scotchbrite flavour ones or the real hard foam buggers? Both are epic win

Scotchbrite flavor, I also got one of those corrugated wheels, which is probably good for contoured stuff, bit slower rate though. Spent about a grand with that bloke over the last few months I think, all I can say, is fuck doing it any other way!

3kg lighter. Damn these things are light and compact (milling cutter shown for size comparison).

Noticed my batt box has a metal front which is not so good for terminal placement when the new battery is less than half the height of the old...

Well I kind of have this plan to go down to just one blade, so one might become spare... Looking at how much of the current is drawn at stall, rather than cranking, seems like it would be ideally suited for a simple soft-start circuit to prevent the massive inrush current starters pull atm. But, I'm not sure how the sprag clutch (or in the VFR's case, roller ramp clutch) would deal with this, do they need a good kick to lock them to begin with, or is such a kick actually detrimental in the first place (certainly was at some point on the part's bike's one).

Finally got some time to work on this... Fabbed up an ali subframe; 1.5kg lighter, lost a few other small bits, trimmed the plastic along back edge to suit tail tidy.
