Why would you want to join such a conservative stone age party? They have to have a male and a female co-leader FFS. Get with it, gay marriage is legal! why would the Greens need an such an outmoded leadership relationship? :P

When - not if - you get in, could you ensure that the Green Party actively fight against policies that the rest of the country see as idiotic, rather than whinge about how unfair it is with a couple of Facebook posts?

cheers mate... and given that I'd be representing the country, that's a given. Having said that, you may need a reciprocal agreement with the reds n blues just in case, ya know, just in case, I pop up a policy that you don't like

Funny thing is, whether you are gay or not you are still generally either male of female. I don't ever remember the Greens saying that either leader couldn't be gay.
    Cheers

Trouble is, the policies that the rest of the country see as as idiotic, are all in the Green Party manifesto.

Sorry, I guess the gay reference (as usual) stops people looking at the real issues. The co leadership rules are blatant sex discrimination, and do not allow for those individuals that do not identify as either gender. I guess, at least, they are not discriminating on sexual preference, age, or religion

There's plenty of medicrity and downright stupidity from all parties. At present, we tend to see more of the rubbish from National (anyone else noticed how quiet the whole TPPA business has gone?), but there's no doubt the others are just as inept.

National are deflecting and obfuscating. It's something they are very good at. That said, having been re-elected on the back of no real policy whatsoever, they probably feel entitled to do whatever they like.
