    Playing cards decal?

    Heya gurus!

I've got this mad idea in my mind that I can take a pack of playing cards and epoxy/glue them onto a sanded and primed fuel tank then go over them with a clear-coat sealant of some sorts to hold up against the weather and such. Is this a stupid idea in the making? Will rain just penetrate the clear-coat and fcuk up the playing cards underneath? Is clear-coat the way to go?

I'm after any advice you can provide!

(I got the idea from the cagers putting stickers onto the panels of their cars, they must have some solution to stop damage to the stickers)

    Cheers
    Reuben

    Stupid idea....

Any coating will be so thick it will crack and fall off.

If you must have playing cards, paint the tank and get someone to do the graphics and get the tank vinyl wrapped.

Its an OK idea its just actual playing cards are kinda thick... being made of card and all... Plus getting them to bend in two directions smoothly would be impossible... unless you are dynamo...

Vinyl wrapping is the way to go or even get an image made up and stick it on.
