And the neat way they could use their position as govt to change electorate boundaries to improve their chances of staying in power - really great that one, let's "stack the deck" in our favour.

Face it, no matter who gets in, there are going to be those who don't want the govt - and under both MMP and FPP, that has included times when most New Zealanders don't want that govt.

Yes it is nice to live in a National Strong Hold and actually have my vote count for something. No way would I want to go back to FPP.

Actually, I was kind of annoyed I didn't step up to talk to her. I was wearing my leather jacket and carrying my crash helmet, so I wanted to ask her why I just got the paperwork for my cage and bike registration and the cage is cheaper than the bike ($200 versus $250 for the year)! How the hell does that work? Surely bikes are cheaper in every way? Less road damage, less space on the road, less parking required, less fuel used, less cost to the health service because of fewer injuries?

Doubt it would have changed anything, but it would have been interesting to hear her response.
Hopefully, the stress of trying to keep all the wankers in coalition will give the hag cancer and she'll die :spudwave:

Fewer injuries, yeah right!! The ACC levy is high because too many bikers are injured on a per number of bikes on the road basis.
    Cheers

Yeah, I'm regretting going to the A&E with just grazed skin (just in case I'd done other damage I wasn't aware of) and filling out ACC forms. I was young and naive at the time and I didn't realise the bastards were going to use the data against us.

Cheer up LiasTZ, it's only a three year tummy-upset, you'll be right! (pardon the pun )

A lesson we'd all do well to remember & pass on to virgin/undamaged riders
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yep. "Unless your arm is hanging off, held only by a 2cm strip of skin, don't go to A&E, you're making us all look bad..."

Harden up man. That's just a flesh wound. Bandaid should sort that out. No need to tell the bastards anything.
