Yes that's why you would run busa rods which are longer+stronger and pick the ally base cylinder spacer for below the barrels. Its available in differing sizes so you can select your desired compression.

Have a gander at the one on the Gixxer. They look to be modded versions of that to me.

Japan there's all sorts of goodies available for them over there; full XR69 bodywork kits were available.... dug pretty deep into the web a few years ago when I had my GS looking for bits n pieces; went all ga-ga over a mandrel bent yoshi pipe until I did the maths on the exchange rate & shipping costs at the time , came up roses though when I scored a basically new/unused Yoshi titanium headers/mid pipe & cyclone can off TM for peanuts

Ah bugger I had just about gotten over selling mine, I knew I'd regret it, this isn't helping.

They're an incredibly easy bike to ride. Nice and narrow...skinny tyres make it tip in easy and it's incredibly flickable. Pretty original and tidy. 31000km's. This one's a keeper. Aye.

Can't really tell from their pics. But from what I've seen of their bikes, they're not that flash. I paid $8500.00 for mine. Don't really care what it's worth. I wanted it, and had to pay that to get it. I'll be owning it for a long time so it doesn't really matter!

8.5k is about the same as the loss on a new bike in the first year.
You could sell it to me in a years time for 1k and still be ahead.

Depends on what it is. You'll not take an 8.5k hit if you buy a GSXR600 @ 13k for example!

    And...yeah...nah.

There will likely be fucktards trying to only take a $500 hit in a years time.

Don't go bringing your under priced new bikes that should be sold for more coins into this.
Ill negotiate on the 1k. How low will you go?

I think of it as reducing skull temperature to increase brain performance.

Nice bike, these early GSXR's are very popular in Europe now, good ones demand reasonable $.
