1 shot green chartreuse
1 shot absinthe
1 shot good vodka
1 shot lime juice
strain through crushed ice.

Now.. six of us were drinking these and we woke up in the gardens in rotorua.
We have no idea how we got there because we were all drinking, our cars were at the party venue, we had all the money in our wallets that we started the night with... and uh..

we started drinking in west auckland.

Had one hell of a time getting a bus to take us all home.

Good value for money that stuff is ;-)

I've got a stainless steel absinthe spoon floating around if you want to borrow it. My silver ones all got nicked.

Don't know what proof it was in the past, but this (attached) was available duty free.
Stroh (160 proof Austrian rum) and Ron Rico 151 are both stronger than Absinthe, but are much less like drinking liquid rat poison.
As you can see, we haven't made much of a dent to this bottle either. It also has the added bonus of scaring people away so they don't touch my single malt hiding behind it.

Nah, the real reason was that the Czech republic was joining the European Union and it's illegal to stop imports of a member country's goods. It's legal in Czech, so it's legal everywhere!
