UP FOR SALE
My 1990 Gsxr 1100 warrant till May rego on hold,
I have owned the bike for about 3 months now hasn't let me down, have just decided that i want something a little smaller as this is a bit overkill for commuting. Since ive owned the bike its had a fork service, alternator seals replaced as they were leaking oil, and a new Pirelli Diablo rear tyre all with receipts. was told by previous owner carburetors have had seals replaced and it has new leads but have no proof of this. Bike runs great starts easily no throttle even on cold mornings

THE CONS

is cosmetically average,
front fairing is off a 1989 Gsxr750 and color doesnt match (apparently someone tried to streetfighter it and gave up halfway)
corrosion. on the motor and a few alloy bits will show in photos.
fairings are a bit scratched up
the crankcase breather hose is literally a garden hose. lol.
will need a new front tyre within next 1000kms.

not 100% on a price have seen similar year Gsxrs go for anywhere between 3k-5k i
would imagine mine would be on the lower end of the scale. Not sure let me know what you think.
Could be interested in a trade on a smaller bike of similar value.

Why on earth would you want to swap a good old gsxr for a smaller bike in the 3k price range?
You would end up with half the bike for all the price.

well in all honesty id LIKE to sell it for cash but ive been trying for a month now and had no bites. best offer i had was $2500 and thats a bit low. i just cant afford registration and gas prices on it, its a bit much for me.

Bring it to drivers on a Thursday night, There's a few streetfighter homos that turn up that might be keen. Beware they probably dont have much money, im basing this on the fact none of them seem to be able to fix their crashed sports bikes properly.
