What a nail biter!! I couldn't take my eyes off the tv. After Vettori scampered through on that 3rd to last ball (amazingly I thought) I wondered how on earth Elliot was going to cope with the weight of expectation on his shoulders. But he was obviously in the zone and knew it was his for the taking.
Poor hubby, who is not such a die hard fan as me and was asleep, was unceremoniously woken by me shrieking and bouncing around like a mad thing.

I even managed to feel for the SA 's (just a little bit) seeing de Villier's distress at the captains interview after the game. But it didn't last long.

The pricks (in my not so humble opinion) ended each gushing commentary with a question - how will the Black Caps do on Sunday?

Win or lose on Sunday, the South Africa match will be the enduring memory of this tournament.

Irrespective of the result on Sunday the CWC ended with New Zealand beating South Africa - that was a fantastically exciting game!

Last nights game was boring as! - Sundays game ? - only the final result will be of interest - the contest suddenly lost it's flavour last night!
