    Paeroa

Amazing that a significant number of people have asked me if Im going to Paeroa to the racing next weekend (no Im not racing) and nearly all have seen it advertised on TV. Ive been the last 4-5 years and theres always a good crowd but jeez how big is it going to be this year with the advertising and whats it costing cause this is certainly the most promotion I have seen for any MC event in NZ. Good on them!!!!!!

Can't wait and hopefully for the 20th? year in a row it will be hot and fine.

Well lets hope it's a ripper.

I'll be on a corner dressed in my usual head to toe orange and baking

Either the Adverts have been regional, or I haven't watched much TV....

That said, darn good on them!
Something has to be done to promote our sport and this investment is a darn good start!

The 20th running of Paeroa was in 2011 Murray.

But was it fine and hot in 1994 - I am led to believe it has never rained on Paeroa race day for the last 19 years which is what I was saying. Not how long the races have been going.

Pointless starting a new thread so will ask here. I'm heading down on Saturday & need accommodation for 2 nights. Me old man is out from Blighty & flies home on the Monday, thought I would give him a fitting farewell.
Any recommendations within 45 mins or so of Paeroa? I realise that in town and around will be booked out.
Just trying to avoid wandering the web.
